I‘m a photographer and DoP/ videographer with over 25 years of experience in creating content, post-production and leading teams. I’ve worked for a range of agencies and clients across Australia, the UK, New Zealand and Canada.

Blatantly put, as a highly experienced creative advertising professional, I have a vast skill set, wide knowledge and experience base and have high quality expectations. I am process driven and as a natural listener with a solutions based mindset, I am known for my calm, problem-solving nature at all stages of production.

I love what I do, and the challenges and growth it brings. Over the years, one mantra has stuck with me…

“Once you understand the rules, then you can break them.”

I heard that 30 years ago from a photography tutor and for me it represents the time it takes to build a thorough understanding of a craft, and then once you have that, an instinct for how and when to push those boundaries. 

When I first entered the world of creative advertising, I used that to help me progress my skills in creative artworking and retouching through to ultimately building and leading a few production studios. 

For the past 14 years I have focused on commercial photography and videography, grasping any opportunity to learn and feed the passion I’ve had for these two crafts since I was a kid.

In that time, I have shot across a wide variety of location and studio environments and in the past seven years, I built and led a successful team of photographers, videographers and animators.
